This Privacy Policy explains how Forus LLC ("ZatZim", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ZatZim customer app, the ZatZim Partner app, and the ZatZim website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, password, and (for providers/professionals) business details.
- Profile photo and documents you upload (e.g., verification documents for providers).
- Bank details you submit for receiving payouts (bank name, name on account, account number, account type, email). This is used to pay you outside the app; ZatZim does not initiate automated bank transfers.
- Booking and service information you enter (addresses, service details, messages in chat, ratings and reviews).
Information collected automatically
- Location (with your permission) to show nearby services, set service addresses, and improve delivery. You can disable location in your device settings.
- Device and usage information (device model, OS, app version, identifiers, and a push-notification token).
Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; card data is handled by Stripe under its own terms and security. Cash payments are handled directly between the parties.
2. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and provide the Service.
- To process bookings, payments, wallet top-ups and withdrawals, payouts, and commissions.
- To send notifications about bookings, payments, and account activity (push, email).
- To enable chat between customers and providers/professionals.
- To provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.
3. Third-party services we use
- Google Firebase (authentication, push notifications, and chat/Firestore).
- Google Maps (maps and location features).
- Stripe (card payment processing).
- Brevo (transactional email delivery).
These providers process data under their own privacy policies. Sign-in options include Email, Google, Apple, and Phone.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service: between a customer and the provider/professional fulfilling a booking (e.g., name, contact, address, booking details); with the service providers listed above; and where required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information, and ZatZim products do not show third-party ads.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion (see below).
6. Your choices and rights
- Access/update: edit your profile in the app.
- Delete account: use the in-app account-deletion option, or email us. We will delete or anonymize your data subject to legal retention requirements.
- Permissions: control location, camera, photos, microphone, and notifications in your device settings.
7. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (including encrypted HTTPS connections) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a revised date.
